Recently fellow social media maven Barry Cunningham asked me for some SEO advice which turned into a series of intriguing conversations that led to him giving me 3 unsolicited testimonials on Facebook for his results.

So this obviously stoked the interest of other budding SEOs on Facebook so we went ahead and decided to run a series of calls for them.

The first one is starting at the start. Learning how to create content.

Content is the story of your brand told over time.  A great metaphor for what can go into that story is the epic Seinfeld dialogue for “the pitch”.

GEORGE: I’m really serious. I think that’s a good idea.

JERRY: Just talking? Well what’s the show about?

GEORGE: It’s about nothing.

JERRY: No story?

GEORGE: No forget the story.

JERRY: You’ve got to have a story.

GEORGE: Who says you gotta have a story? Remember when we were waiting for,for that table in that Chinese restaurant that time? That could be a TV

If you consider reality TV these days you will see George was way ahead of his time.
